to-do list part 2

heya! cool, beautiful morning. the alarm clock went off at 6:05am. i hit the snooze, then off button, got out of bed, and went to the bathroom. i was about to wash my face when i realized it is saturday. so off to bed i went back. finally got up at almost 10am, i think.

we had sticky loaf for breakfast, which i bought from Eat'n Park. the second consecutive weekend we had it. hubby said he doesn't want it again until after some time... =) poor, hubby... he wants a quick breakfast so that's what he gets.

before i digress any further, here's my to-do list for today. technically, for half of today since it's now 12:26pm.
  • do the laundry (beddings, shirts, shorts, towels)
  • iron shirts, pants, shorts
  • go to aldi's (looovvveee aldi's)

as i said, already mowed the lawn yesterday.

i hope i can stick to the list.

we'll have clam chowder soup but i'm not sure when yet. the ingredients are already in my shopping list. i'm not talking about the clam-chowder-from-scratch soup but the quick and easy version, which i found in recipezaar, i think. tweak it a little bit according to your and your family's taste, and it's pretty good. a no-fuss recipe.

ok. one reason that kept me up 'til early this morning was the article written by Malu Fernandez of Manila Standard for their People Asia magazine. i found out(read) about it from Nick's blog. needless to say, it infuriated me. i'll talk about it in another post together with another younger, equally infuriating version of Ms. Fernandez.

'til next.
